The Railway administration has announced the operation of special trains between Gandhidham and Supaul to accommodate the surge of passengers during the upcoming summer holidays. These trains will pass through Prayagraj, offering a convenient travel option for people heading towards Bihar and West Bengal. Shasikant Tripathi, the CPRO of North Central Railway, stated that the time table for these services has been officially released to assist travelers in planning their journeys.
Schedule for Gandhidham-Malda Town Special Train (09463/09464)
This special service will run for a limited period in April 2026 to help passengers traveling between Gujarat and West Bengal. The train will connect several major cities across multiple states.
- Train 09463: Departs Gandhidham on April 19, 2026, at 12:30 AM and reaches Malda Town on Tuesday at 9:10 AM.
- Train 09464: Departs Malda Town on April 21, 2026, at 5:35 PM and arrives at Gandhidham on Sunday at 3:30 PM.
- Route and Halts: Key stops include Samakhiali, Palanpur, Abu Road, Jaipur, Tundla, Govindpuri, Prayagraj Junction, Patna, and Bhagalpur.
- Coach Composition: The train will have 20 coaches, including one AC II, two AC III, 13 Sleeper, and two General coaches.
New Delhi to Supaul Daily Special Train Details
To manage the heavy passenger load between Delhi and Bihar, a dedicated special train will operate on a frequent basis during the summer peak. This train will follow the route via Prayagraj-Rambag and Varanasi.
