NEET Exam Special Trains: North Western Railway to run special services on Jaipur-Alwar and Churu routes

North Western Railway has announced the operation of special unreserved trains for NEET (UG) aspirants in Rajasthan. These trains will run on May 3, 2026, to ensure students reach their examination centers on time. The initiative aims to reduce transport difficulties for the large number of candidates appearing for the exam.

What are the timings and routes of the special trains?

The railway department will operate two unreserved exam special trains for a single trip each. These trains are designed to carry students across key districts of Rajasthan to their respective centers.

What is the coach composition and stoppage details?

Both special trains consist of 12 coaches, including 10 general class coaches and 2 guard vans. The Churu-Jaipur train will stop at Bisau, Ramgarh Shekhawati, Fatehpur Shekhawati, Laxmangarh Sikar, Sikar Junction, Palsana, Ringas, Govindgarh Malikpur, Chomu Samode, and Deher ka Balaji.

The Jaipur-Alwar train will have stoppages at Gandhinagar Jaipur, Gator Jagatpura, Khatipura, Bassi, Dausa, Bandikui, Baswa, Rajgarh, and Malakheda. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Pooja Mittel and CPRO Amit Sudarshan confirmed these arrangements to manage the rush of students.

Important details regarding the NEET exam in Rajasthan

Approximately 2.09 lakh candidates will appear for the NEET exam across 611 centers in 27 districts of Rajasthan. Jaipur has the highest number of centers with 106 locations. The exam is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM.

Apart from the special trains, the Rajasthan Roadways will provide free travel facilities for the candidates. Strict security and traffic management plans have been put in place by the state administration to ensure a smooth examination process.
