On July 15, 2026, authorities will implement a six-hour traffic block from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM near Gangjala to facilitate the permanent decommissioning of LC No-31 Special. The following trains are cancelled on July 15: 55521 Saharsa–Samastipur Passenger, 55523 Saharsa–Samastipur Passenger, 55566 Samastipur–Saharsa Passenger, 75287 Saharsa–Samastipur Passenger, 55570 Saharsa–Purnia Court Passenger, and 55569 Purnia–Saharsa Fast Passenger. Furthermore, commuters should expect significant delays, with the 11041 Pune–Saharsa Express delayed by 120 minutes and the 14617 Purnia Court–Amritsar Janseva Express delayed by approximately five hours. The Janaki Express (Train No. 15284) will also operate on a diverted route.
Samastipur Tuntuniya Bridge Closure
