This season, some trains like the Baruni-New Delhi Clone Express were delayed by as much as 16 hours. Others, such as the Mumbai Rajdhani, were delayed by 2.5 hours, while the Vande Bharat from Varanasi took an hour longer and the New Delhi Intercity was 3.5 hours late.

Many trains passing through the Prayagraj zone of North Central Railway were running late. For example, the Gomti Express was delayed by five hours, the Magadh Express by eight hours, and the Ranchi-New Delhi Express by eight and a half hours.
In Agra, trains like the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express and others also faced delays ranging from one to three hours. Due to these delays, around 140 passengers canceled their tickets.
