This article talks about train delays between Dhanbad and Howrah due to ongoing work at Khana Junction and cancellation of certain MEMU trains.

There have been major train delays between Dhanbad and Howrah recently. This is happening because of some work going on at Khana Junction. As a result, many trains arriving from Howrah were delayed for hours on Wednesday.

For example, the Howrah-Rajdhani Express was late by over an hour, while the Coalfield Express faced almost three hours of delay. Other trains like the Mumbai Mail and Jammu Tawi Express also arrived late, with delays ranging from two to three hours.

Passengers traveling to Dhanbad from Howrah had to wait longer as train services were affected. The Coalfield Express that usually leaves in the evening departed almost two and a half hours late. Moreover, the Howrah-Kalka Mail, scheduled to leave at 9:55 PM, was delayed to 11:55 PM.

Due to technical issues at Khana Junction, the Eastern Railway announced that 21 MEMU trains will be canceled on December 11 and 12. Some of these include trains between Asansol and Bardhaman.

Travelers are advised to check their train schedules before heading to the station. The situation is expected to improve after the ongoing work is completed, but passengers should plan for possible delays in the meantime.
