New Vande Bharat Train Set to Operate from Jodhpur to Delhi via Jaipur, Promising 8-Hour Travel Time

A new Vande Bharat train is coming soon for the people of Rajasthan. This train will make traveling from Jodhpur to Delhi much easier and quicker.

The train arrived in Jodhpur on Tuesday night and is expected to start operating very soon. It will be the second Vande Bharat train from Jodhpur, following the one to Sabarmati.


The new service is likely to begin before September 15. It will have eight coaches and is expected to cover the distance to Delhi in just 8 hours. The train will stop at stations like Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurugram on its way.

The journey is planned to start at 5:30 AM from Jodhpur, reaching Delhi around 1:30 PM. The return trip will leave Delhi at 3:10 PM and arrive back in Jodhpur by 11:15 PM.


Fares for the new service have been announced as well. For a chair car from Jodhpur to Delhi, the fare will be around ₹1610, while executive class will cost about ₹2930. This is almost double the fare of other trains on the same route.
