Central Government Allocates ₹25.95 Crores for Hi-Tech City Railway Station Development in Hyderabad Under Amrit Bharat Scheme

The central government is focusing on railway development in Telangana. Recently, they announced that they will invest ₹25.95 crores for upgrading the Hi-Tech City railway station in Hyderabad under the Amrit Bharat scheme.

Centrally appointed Minister Kishan Reddy mentioned that 80% of the work at this station is already completed. The aim is to provide better facilities for passengers, including special arrangements for differently-abled individuals.


With the new improvements, passengers can expect better waiting areas and additional shelters. Construction of the waiting hall, station building, and footbridge is expected to finish soon, making travel more comfortable.

Kishan Reddy emphasized the government’s commitment to developing the Hi-Tech City railway station. He noted that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the government is dedicated to enhancing railway stations across the country.


As part of the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, several other railway stations in Telangana will also undergo renovations. The Hi-Tech City station is included in this initiative, promising modern facilities that will significantly enhance the travel experience.
