On Friday, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Railway Minister of India, and Hiromasa Nakano, Japan’s Minister of Land, visited Surat to check on the bullet train project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

They inspected the construction site and saw the installation of a special track system. The visit was a good sign of cooperation between India and Japan for this major transport project.


For the convenience of passengers, a new railway station is being built in Surat. It will have nice interiors, natural light, and well-ventilated platforms to ensure a comfortable experience for travelers.

The bullet train corridor is quite long, measuring 508 km. So far, a significant amount of work has been completed, including many bridges and viaducts, showing the scale of this engineering project.
