The newly constructed 15.45 km rail section between Nagod and Phulwari has reached a significant development stage. Commissioner of Railway Safety Shri Guru Prakash conducted a successful inspection and a high-speed trial at 120 kmph on March 24, 2026. This project is a crucial part of the Lalitpur-Singrauli new line initiative under West Central Railway. The successful trial marks the readiness of this stretch for upcoming passenger train operations.

Project status and upcoming connectivity for Panna
The Nagod-Phulwari link is an essential segment of the Satna-Panna rail line. Currently, 45 km of the total 72 km Satna-Panna section has been finished. Construction for the remaining 27 km stretch between Phulwari and Panna is progressing rapidly and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. Local connectivity is expected to improve significantly once the full route becomes operational for the public. Railway authorities will soon approve regular train schedules for the newly tested Nagod-Phulwari section.
