To help passengers, additional stoppages have been provided at Aishbagh and Badshahnagar stations. This is to ensure that people can still reach their destinations despite the construction block.
Other ongoing work on Kanpur-Lucknow route
Apart from the Lucknow station work, another mega block is active from April 2 to May 13, 2026. This work involves track repairs on the Ganga bridge on the Kanpur-Lucknow section. This has already affected the routes of premium trains like the Shatabdi and Vande Bharat Express.
