This creates a ripple effect of traffic congestion that impacts key areas including Agra Road, Nagla Chaube, Dauji Mela area, and the vicinity of Hathrasi Temple. The extended closures have frequently hindered essential services, including school buses and ambulances, causing daily frustration for the local population.

The project is being executed through a collaborative effort between the Engineering and Signal & Telecommunication branches of the NCR. The work involves laying new signal cables and upgrading equipment to ensure the gate mechanism is synchronized with real-time train movements. According to Amit Kumar Singh, Public Relations Officer of the Prayagraj Division, the station development projects are moving forward according to the planned schedule.
