Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off two new Amrit Bharat Express trains on April 28, 2026. These trains will connect Ayodhya to Mumbai and Banaras to Pune, improving travel between Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The services aim to provide a faster and more affordable travel option for common passengers and pilgrims.

The Ayodhya Cantt-LTT Amrit Bharat Express (Train No. 02212) will start its first journey from Ayodhya Dham on April 28, 2026, at 4:45 PM. Another train will operate between Banaras and Pune (Hadapsar). These trains are designed to make long-distance travel cheaper and more comfortable for budget travelers.
