North Eastern Railway has started the digital coach guidance system at Basti railway station. This new facility helps passengers find their exact coach position before the train arrives. It was installed by the Telecom Department on platforms number two, three, and four to reduce the rush and confusion on the platform.

The rail administration is now working to link these systems with the National Train Enquiry System (NTES). Once integrated, updated display systems will show the exact coach position 30 minutes before the train reaches the station, removing the need for manual data entry.
