Rail operations in the Danapur Division were severely affected on April 26, 2026, due to a mega block at Neura station. This block was implemented for Non-Interlocking (NI) and Pre-NI work to modernize the signaling system and repair tracks. The primary goal of this project is to make the new Neura-Jatdumri broad gauge rail line operational.

What was the impact on train timings?
Many trains arrived at their destinations with significant delays. The 22311 Mumbai LTT Express reached Ara about six hours late.
