What is the schedule for the Gandhidham-Malda Town special train?
The 09463 Gandhidham–Malda Town special train will arrive at Idgah station in Agra on April 19 at 7:30 AM and will depart after a five-minute stop at 7:35 AM. For the return trip, the 09464 Malda Town–Gandhidham special is scheduled to reach Idgah every Thursday at 6:30 PM and depart at 6:35 PM. These timings are designed to provide direct rail connectivity for passengers traveling towards West Bengal and Gujarat from the Agra division.
Which other special trains are operating through the Agra division?
Several other services are currently operational or planned to handle the seasonal demand and festival rush. The railway administration has shared the following details for other special routes:
- The Agra-Surat Festival train is now a Summer Special running from April 8 to July 15.
- A Jabalpur-Ayodhya Dham weekly special will operate between April 21 and July 15.
- The Yashwantpur-Danapur special train will make trips on April 20 and April 23.
- About 24 trains that previously stopped at Agra Fort now have permanent halts at Idgah Agra Junction.
The Idgah Agra Junction recently underwent redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with a budget of 12.8 crore. These improvements include a new washing pit and better amenities for passengers as the station prepares to handle more traffic in the coming months.
