The railway ministry will run a total of 18,262 trips across the country. A major focus is on passengers traveling to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The East Central Railway (ECR) alone is preparing to run around 1,000 special trains for these states. Other zones like North, West, and South Central Railway are also contributing to this service.
