The Ministry of Railways is currently checking the feasibility of stopping two major trains at Pataudi railway station. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed that the operational study is ongoing for the Jan Shatabdi Express and Runicha Express. This move follows a request made by Union Minister Rao Indrajit Singh to improve connectivity for the local population.
Which trains are being considered for the stoppage?
The railway department is examining the possibility of stopping the following trains at Pataudi station to help passengers travel to Delhi and Rajasthan:
- Jan Shatabdi Express: Train number 12065/12066
- Runicha Express: Train number 14087/14088
Once approved, this will provide direct travel facilities for people living in Pataudi, Helimandi, Farrukhnagar, and nearby areas.
