The Prime Minister dedicated the Sankrail–Santragachi Link Line to the nation, which cost ₹421 crore. This line will help manage heavy traffic on one of the busiest rail corridors in Eastern India. Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for a Road Over Bridge (ROB) between Haur and Radhamohanpur in Purba Medinipur at a cost of ₹71 crore to remove traffic bottlenecks.
