The Rajkot Division of Western Railway successfully completed the launching of three massive Foot Over Bridge (FOB) girders at Aliyawada station. This work was carried out as part of the ongoing Rajkot-Kanalus doubling project to improve passenger safety and ease of movement. The entire operation was completed within a tight window of 3 hours.

The engineering team launched three large girders, each measuring 37.28 meters in length. These structures were placed across four railway tracks. The process involved a sequential approach where the first girder was launched, positioned, and fixed, followed by the second and third girders to complete the bridge structure.
