Shravani Mela 2026: Railway on alert, special trains announced for Jasidih and Deoghar

Indian Railways has stepped up preparations for the upcoming Shravani Mela 2026, which is expected to start on July 30. Special Train Schedule for Shravani Mela 2026

To ease the travel burden, the railway has announced several special trains. Four special trains are planned from Gaya to Jasidih, with schedules to be released soon. Additionally, the Howrah-Natesar Special will operate as per the following details:

What facilities are being provided for devotees

Railway officials and district administration are working together to ensure a smooth experience for passengers. DRM Manish Kumar Gupta has ordered all arrangements at Sultanganj and Bhagalpur stations to be completed by July 15. Key updates include:

• A new 12-meter wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB) is being built at Sultanganj station.
• Increase in the number of ticket counters to reduce long queues.
• Installation of 24-hour CCTV surveillance and deployment of additional security forces.
• Setting up of 24-hour medical camps with doctors and life-saving medicines at main stations.
