Shravani Mela 2026: Indian Railways to operate special trains for Baba Baidyanath Dham, check details

Indian Railways and the Deoghar district administration have started preparations for the Shravani Mela 2026. The pilgrimage will take place from July 30, 2026, to August 28, 2026. To manage the huge crowd of devotees, the railways will run special trains and improve facilities at major stations.

The administration will open additional ticket counters at Deoghar station to reduce long queues. Special focus is being given to Jasidih Junction, Deoghar Railway Station, and Baidyanath Dham Railway Station. These stations will have better security, more passenger shelters, and 24-hour medical camps to help the pilgrims.

Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania confirmed that the railways will coordinate to run extra trains for passengers coming from all over India. The authorities have been asked to ensure the following basic amenities at all stations:
