Indian Railways has announced the operation of eight summer special trains passing through Bareilly station to manage the heavy passenger rush during the upcoming vacation season. North Eastern Railway and North Railway have released the complete timetable, and ticket booking for these services has officially started. These special trains will connect key destinations like Rishikesh, Kolkata, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarpur, and Delhi between April and July 2026.
Schedule for Rishikesh and Eastern route special trains
The Yog Nagari Rishikesh-Kolkata special (04312) will run every Friday from April 17 to July 10, departing Rishikesh at 10:20 PM. The return train (04311) will operate every Sunday from Kolkata. For passengers heading to Bihar, the Rishikesh-Muzaffarpur special (04314/04313) will run twice a week, departing Rishikesh on Thursdays and Sundays. These services aim to provide comfortable travel options for passengers who often face waitlisted tickets on regular routes during the summer.
Detailed routes for Delhi, Varanasi and Ayodhya special services
Railway officials have also confirmed special services for Delhi and Uttar Pradesh sectors. The Varanasi-Delhi special (04209/04210) will run via Lucknow on specific days starting April 15. Additionally, the Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar service will operate twice a week to assist pilgrims and regular commuters. These trains will feature various classes of travel to suit different passenger needs during the peak travel months.
