What’s inside:

Bihar has now joined Uttar Pradesh as the state with the most Vande Bharat trains, surpassing Maharashtra.

Bihar has recently made headlines by overtaking Maharashtra in the number of Vande Bharat trains. Now, it stands alongside Uttar Pradesh at the top of the list. This change is part of a continuous effort by Indian Railways to enhance train services across the country.

The Vande Bharat trains, which are semi-high-speed, are manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. They have been popular among passengers, often running with full occupancy. The trains are known for their modern amenities and faster travel times.

With this update, Bihar’s railway network is set to get more efficient. Passengers can expect better connectivity and shorter travel times on various routes. The exact number of trains and their schedules will be shared by Indian Railways soon, making it easier for travelers to plan their journeys.

Currently, both Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are leading in the Vande Bharat train count. Maharashtra, which previously held a strong position, has now slipped to third place. This shift highlights the growing importance of rail networks in enhancing regional connectivity.

Going forward, more Vande Bharat trains are expected to be introduced across different states. This will not only improve travel experiences but also boost local economies by making transportation more accessible.

Summary:

  • Bihar surpasses Maharashtra in Vande Bharat train count.

  • Both Bihar and Uttar Pradesh now lead with the highest number of trains.

  • Vande Bharat trains are semi-high-speed and very popular among passengers.

  • New trains will enhance regional connectivity and travel efficiency.

  • More trains are expected to be added in the future.
