New Train Announcement: Nakha Jungle-Daliganj passenger train to resume services from May 26

North Eastern Railway has decided to restart the Nakha Jungle-Daliganj passenger train from May 26, 2026. This decision comes after a request by Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh. The train service was stopped about six years ago during the Covid-19 pandemic.

What are the train timings and schedule

The railway board has already released the proposed timetable for the services. The inaugural special train number 05065 will leave Gonda on May 26 at 12:30 PM. Regular services will start with train number 55062 from Daliganj on May 26 and train number 55061 from Nakha Jungle on May 27.

Which districts and stations will benefit

This train will be a major help for passengers and traders of Bahraich division’s four districts along with Barabanki and Lucknow. It will also benefit people from Gonda, Sitapur, Balrampur, and Shravasti. About 1500 to 1700 passengers are expected to use this service daily.
