The railway authorities have started the construction of a waiting room for passengers. Along with this, there are plans to expand the circulating area and build a dedicated vehicle parking lot. To protect passengers from sun and rain, low-level sheds will be installed on Platform 1 and 2, and the existing passenger sheds will be extended.
