The South Eastern Railway has officially announced a series of operational adjustments affecting multiple MEMU train services under its Adra division. These changes, which include full cancellations, partial cancellations, and route diversions, are scheduled to remain in effect from July 20 to July 26, 2026. The railway administration stated that these modifications are necessary to carry out a rolling block for essential infrastructure work, track maintenance, and safety upgrades across the network. Passengers traveling across the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal should plan their journeys accordingly to avoid any last-minute travel disruptions.

Important Advice for Commuters

Railway authorities emphasize that these measures are vital for enhancing passenger safety and strengthening the overall railway infrastructure. Because the schedule for various trains is subject to change based on the progress of the engineering works, the railway administration has strongly advised all passengers to verify the updated status of their specific trains before heading to the station. Travelers are encouraged to check the official IRCTC website, the NTES app, or contact local station inquiry counters to receive real-time updates regarding their scheduled services. We recommend that commuters allow for extra travel time during this week-long maintenance period.
