Details of Key Extended Routes
The Charlapalli-Danapur Special (Train No. 07091) will continue its operations every Saturday from August 1 to September 26, 2026. Its return leg, Train No. 07092, will run every Monday from August 3 to September 28, 2026. This route is strategically mapped to pass through major hubs including DDU, Prayagraj Chheoki, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Ballarshah, and Kazipet.
For passengers travelling between Patna and Charlapalli, the Patna-Charlapalli Special (Train No. 03253) will run every Monday and Wednesday until September 16, 2026. The return services, Train No. 03254, will operate every Wednesday until September 16, and Train No. 03255 will run every Friday until September 18, 2026. These trains feature a versatile coach composition including AC Three-Tier, AC Three-Tier Economy, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class. Major halts for this route include Kazipet, Nagpur, Durg, Bilaspur, Rourkela, Ranchi, and Gaya.
Wider Network Extensions
Beyond these specific routes, various railway zones have ramped up operations to accommodate the festive season rush. The Western Railway has extended 10 pairs of special trains, including the Mumbai Central–Kanpur Anwarganj service until late August and the Ahmedabad–Patna route. Similarly, the East Central Railway has extended the Udhna-Madhubani and Valsad-Danapur specials. Other notable extensions include the Hubballi–Rameswaram Special and the Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak Special, which will continue running until mid-September.
