Advanced Fire Prevention Technology

Additionally, electrical cabinets are fitted with aerosol-based fire suppression systems to prevent short-circuit-related fires.
For passengers, the newer Vande Bharat rakes offer enhanced safety features like Emergency Talk Back Units and Passenger Emergency Alarm Buttons in every coach. Training and Incident Management
To maintain high safety standards, frontline staff—including loco pilots, guards, and station managers—undergo specialized training at the Indian Railways Institute of Disaster Management (IRIDM). The curriculum focuses heavily on firefighting, first aid, and trauma management.
