The train consists of a 10-car trainset powered by a 1200 KW hydrogen fuel cell propulsion system. Unlike traditional trains, this technology emits only water vapor, making it completely green. The coaches were manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.

The train will cover the 90-kilometer distance between Jind and Sonipat in about one hour. The operational speed for passengers will be 75 kmph, although speed trials have already successfully reached 120 kmph. The fares are expected to be very affordable for common passengers.
