Indian Railways made massive arrangements to help candidates reach the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment examination. The exams took place on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. Northeast Railway, Northern Railway, and North Central Railway worked together to manage the heavy rush of around 1.4 lakh students.

What were the special train and coach arrangements?

To handle the crowd, the railway administration took several steps to ensure students reached their centers on time. They operated a large number of special trains and added extra coaches to existing services. Some trains were also rescheduled or had their routes extended to cover more areas.

How were the stations managed for candidates?

The Prayagraj Division set up a war room to monitor stations and keep a check on passenger numbers. At Gorakhpur Junction and Gonda station, temporary shelters were built. These areas had free drinking water, coolers, mobile charging points, and medical booths. RPF and GRP personnel were deployed to keep the crowds under control and help passengers. Free cold drinks and sherbet were also given to candidates at various stations.
