Indian Railways and IRCTC have announced a special tour package titled Puri-Gangasagar-Ayodhya Dham Yatra using the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. This 11-day luxury trip will start from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan on May 9, 2026. The journey is designed to provide pilgrims an affordable way to visit 11 major religious destinations across the country in a single trip. According to IRCTC officials, this train will cater to the high demand of devotees wanting to visit multiple shrines in one go.

The IRCTC package offers two categories for passengers based on their budget and preference. The Standard category is priced at 27,890 rupees per person, which includes travel in an AC train but stay in non-AC hotels and local travel via non-AC buses. The Comfort category costs 32,065 rupees per person, offering AC accommodation and AC local transport. The train itself features 3-tier AC coaches, a modern kitchen car, and bio-toilets for a comfortable journey. All packages include confirmed berths, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinking water, and travel insurance. Eligible government employees can also avail of the LTC facility for this trip.

The tour covers a wide range of spiritual sites across multiple states. Passengers will visit Jagannath Temple in Puri, the Sun Temple in Konark, Gangasagar in West Bengal, and the Kali Ghat Temple in Kolkata. The itinerary also includes Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Mahabodhi and Vishnupad temples in Gaya, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.
