Ramganjmandi Junction is getting a major upgrade to make travel easier for passengers. The construction of a new Foot Over Bridge (FOB) has reached its final stages. To speed up the work, railway officials recently organized a mega block to install the necessary steel structures over the tracks.
What happened during the mega block at Ramganjmandi Junction
A two-day mega block was implemented on May 21 and 22, 2026, at Ramganjmandi Junction. During this period, railway officials launched steel girders across the tracks to build the new Foot Over Bridge. Both up and down lines were blocked to ensure technical accuracy and safety during the installation process, which temporarily affected train movements.
New facilities and project status
The new Foot Over Bridge is now in its final phase of completion. Apart from the bridge, the station will also get escalators to help passengers move between platforms more comfortably. These upgrades are part of the larger station redevelopment plan. Earlier, in December 2023, Kota DRM Manish Tiwari had inspected the work under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to ensure timely progress.
