To prevent bulk bookings, agents will not be allowed to book Tatkal tickets during the first 30 minutes of the window.
Reservation chart timings
For trains running between 5:01 AM and 2:00 PM, the first chart is prepared by 8:00 PM the previous evening. For trains running between 2:01 PM and 11:59 PM, or from midnight to 5:00 AM, the chart is prepared at least 10 hours before departure.
