As per official data, Indian Railways has invested INR 3,874.90 crore in the Kavach project up to June 2026, with an additional INR 2,066.24 crore earmarked for the 2026-27 fiscal year. The project is being executed in collaboration with industry partners including Medha Servo Drives Private Limited, HBL Power Systems Limited, and Kernex Microsystems.
