The station is being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with a total cost of approximately 19.88 crore rupees. Most of the work is now complete, and only the marking of the parking area remains. The GM also launched a yearly action plan to maintain the beauty and functionality of the station and the colony.

The administration focused on improving the living standards of its employees. The following facilities were inaugurated as part of the ‘Samvad se Samadhan’ initiative:
- Modernized Railway Residential Colony with green areas and gardens
- Dedicated Children’s Park for families
- New Officers’ Rest House
- Hobby Center and Bal Vatika
General Manager Amitabh mentioned that these modern facilities will provide a clean, safe, and better living environment for the railway staff and their families.
