Bareilly Railway Station has geared up to facilitate thousands of pilgrims attending the 108th Urs-e-Razvi, which concludes today, August 8, 2026. Following a decision by the Ala Hazrat Dargah administration, the event dates were adjusted to August 6-8 to avoid potential conflicts with the heavy influx of Kanwar Yatra devotees expected later this week. The Moradabad Rail Division has responded proactively to this schedule change to ensure smooth travel for all passengers.
Key arrangements at the station include:
- Introduction of special trains and additional coaches on regular services.
- Provision of additional stops at Bareilly station for various trains.
- Operationalizing four extra ticket counters, six ATVMs, and three JTBS centers.
- Deployment of RPF and Commercial Department teams for security and crowd management.
- Establishment of help desks and 24-hour assistance camps for passenger support.
Strategic Coordination and Passenger Support
To manage the surge in footfall, the Moradabad Rail Division has prioritized seamless crowd control and passenger convenience. Beyond ticket booking facilities, the station premises are being monitored continuously to ensure safety. The railway authorities have specifically focused on providing adequate drinking water and improved catering services for those traveling to the city for the religious gathering. The Dargah administration, led by Maulana Subhan Raza Khan, played a pivotal role in coordinating these efforts, having previously written to the Railway Board to request enhanced support.
