Passengers at Gandhi Nagar Jaipur Railway Station will soon get relief from congestion. The ticket booking facility at the Tonk Road second entry is set to start next month. With this move, the station building will become fully functional, except for the concourse area.

The North Western Railway (NWR) is preparing to start passenger services at the Tonk Road second entry. While ticket booking will begin next month, other facilities like waiting areas and announcement systems are already working at the first entry. The station building is almost ready for full public use.
What is the progress of the redevelopment project?
The station is being upgraded under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with a total budget of ₹212.48 crore. The project includes several modern additions to improve the passenger experience:
- Two new green buildings
- An air concourse measuring 72 meters in length
- Multi-level parking facilities
Who is monitoring the station work?
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has reviewed the redevelopment progress. Additionally, the station recently saw the inauguration of the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express stoppage on March 29, 2026, by MP Manju Sharma and MLA Kalicharan Saraf.
