The old electric engine will be refurbished into a luxurious, air-conditioned restaurant with a railway theme. It will be located near the main entry gate of the station. The interior will have a seating capacity for 46 people, and there will also be additional seating available outside for visitors.

The Prayagraj division of NCR signed a 10-year contract with a firm called Boon & Zeal for this pilot project. The total contract value is ₹1.96 crore, which includes an annual license fee of about ₹14.6 lakh. The project is being overseen by DRM Rajnish Agrawal and Senior DCM Harimohan.
