Many trains will now run via alternative routes like Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Varanasi, Jaunpur, and Kanpur Central. Some trains will start or end their journey at stations like Prayag, Subedarganj, Banaras, or Karchana instead of Prayagraj Junction.

Other affected trains include Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express, Gorakhpur-LTT, Raxaul-LTT, Pune-Banaras, Ranchi-LTT, Patna-Ahmedabad, Howrah-New Delhi (via Rambagh), and Kamakhya-Anand Vihar.
