The Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Railway Division has cancelled the Ara-Varanasi-Ara MEMU train services for a period of 100 days. This decision will impact students, office goers, and daily passengers who rely on this route for affordable travel. The railway administration has issued this update to facilitate essential infrastructure work on the tracks.

Which trains are cancelled and for how long

The cancellation applies to train number 63229 (Ara-Banaras MEMU) and train number 63230 (Banaras-Ara MEMU). These trains will remain suspended from June 6, 2026, to September 13, 2026. Passengers are advised to plan their travel using alternative trains or transport modes during this 100-day window.
