To avoid congestion and ensure smooth travel, the railway has reserved six special trains at Kanpur Central. Additionally, four MEMU trains will be rescheduled to better manage the passenger flow. Authorities expect an additional load of about 2 lakh people over these three days, making these extra trains necessary for the candidates’ convenience.
How is the security being managed at the station?
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have set up a tight security network. RPF In-charge S.N. Patidar stated that along with the Quick Response Team (QRT), six special Rassa teams have been formed. These teams will remain active from the evening of June 7 until June 11. Every personnel will be connected to the control room via mobile to manage crowds and address issues in real-time.
