The Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan chaired a high-level meeting on June 15, 2026, to prepare for the NEET-UG re-examination. The meeting focused on security and student convenience to avoid previous paper leak issues. The Railway Board Chairman also attended the session to coordinate travel arrangements for candidates.

The Railway Board Chairman assured full cooperation to make travel easy for students. The railways will provide support to ensure candidates reach their exam centers on time. If there is a high rush of students, the railways will offer additional train services to manage the crowd.

What are the key details of the NEET re-exam?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has scheduled the re-examination for June 21, 2026. The exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Admit cards for the test were already released on June 14, 2026. Security will be managed by a multi-layered approach involving the CRPF and other central agencies.

What are the new rules and updates by NTA?
