Railway operations at Prayagraj Junction will be affected from April 20 to April 30, 2026. The North Central Railway and North Eastern Railway are carrying out yard remodelling and non-interlocking work to improve future train operations. This work will lead to changes in routes, timings, and termination points for several trains.

Which trains are affected and what are the changes?
Between 21 and 35 trains will face changes including diversions, rescheduling, and short termination. Some trains will now run via Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Lucknow, and Kanpur Central. All trains diverted via Prayagraj Chheoki will have a temporary stop of 2 minutes at that station.
