Passengers traveling between Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat Station now have a much easier commute. A new state-of-the-art Foot Over Bridge (FOB) has been opened to connect these two major transport hubs. This facility aims to provide a safe and seamless transition for commuters moving between the Indian Railways and the RRTS network.

What are the key features of the new FOB?

The new foot over bridge is 280 meters long and is equipped with several high-tech facilities to help passengers. To make walking easier, six travelators (three moving walkways in each direction) have been installed. The bridge also includes lifts and escalators specifically for senior citizens and divyangjan, along with proper lighting and clear direction boards for easy navigation.

The most significant benefit is the reduction in travel time, as passengers can now switch between the two stations in just 4 to 5 minutes. For ticketing convenience, the Nizamuddin side features 5 UTS counters, 8 ATVMs, and an inquiry counter. Additionally, QR codes are available for digital ticketing via the Rail One Super App. Security is maintained through 24-hour CCTV surveillance across the entire walkway.
