The Northern Railway administration has announced a major traffic and power block at Lucknow Charbagh station. This is happening because the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is building a new concourse to provide world-class facilities at the station. The block will last for 40 days from May 15 to June 23, 2026.
During this period, Platform number 4 will be completely blocked every day from 11 AM to 5 PM, and operations on Platform number 3 will also be regulated to manage the construction work.

Eleven major trains will not arrive at Charbagh station and will instead stop at Badshah Nagar and Aishbagh stations for passengers to board or get off. Additionally, 12 trains have had their routes diverted, and 38 trains will see changes in their platforms.
