To manage the crowd, a special unreserved MEMU train (05573/05574) is already running daily between Saraigarh and Deoghar. This train passes through both Saharsa and Bhagalpur and will operate from May 7 to May 31, 2026. Kartik Singh, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Malda Division, confirmed that they are assessing if one more special train is needed on this route.

The Bihar Government and the Road Construction Department are working to restore traffic. A high-level meeting was led by Secretary Pankaj Kumar Pal to speed up the repairs.
