The new station is designed with Rajasthani cultural elements to keep its heritage alive. Passengers will have access to modern waiting halls, VIP rooms, retiring rooms, and dormitories. The station will also feature separate entry and exit gates, a large parking area, and updated signage. For the convenience of Divyangjan, special ramps and toilets are being built. Other additions include Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, coach display boards, and contemporary furniture.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Anurag Tripathi inspected the site on May 12, 2026, and confirmed that the stone elevation and painting of the main building are complete. The booking counters have already shifted to the new facility. A 12-meter-wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB) is currently under construction. Additionally, five operational rooms, including the relay and battery rooms, are being modernized as part of the track doubling work.
